Author Bio: 

Lynda Lee Smith has committed the past twenty years of her life to achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  Her career with national health organizations like the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society has given her insight into the hurdles that most people face in the pursuit of optimum health.  She has conducted/moderated multiple women’s health conferences focusing on risk factors for major diseases due to poor health.  Her work in the school systems has given her a direct view of the obesity crisis facing elementary and middle school children.  She spent several years as a personal fitness trainer and a public speaker on health topics. Her core belief is that a permanent healthy lifestyle is dependent upon the mental ability to take control over the food you eat and the physical activity you perform.
